Las Vegas Preshow Music
I saw Pendulum on February 26th at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. They KILLED! It was the last show of the North American tour and was
unbelievable!!!
I'm dying to know if anyone can tell me what they were playing in the house just before Pendulum took the stage. InnerPartySystem opened, and when
their show ended, they started playing some stuff that sounded a lot like Pendulum (same synth sounds and beats) but it wasn't anything I had ever
heard before. All instrumental.
I'm not talking about the normal intro music that leads into "Genesis". I am talking about what the sound guy was playing from the mixing board
before the band took the stage.
It was unreal, and I've GOT to have a copy of it, but I have no clue what it was! Any help???

Hey, I was there too!
I can only think of 2 songs that played before Pendulum.
Deadmau5 - Some chords http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmfAZazJKXI)
Porter Robinson - Say my name http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6I10SEJF6c)
The porter robinson song has lyrics, but hell, it's always a good listen anyway

Same question I've been asking. Not QOTSA, its the same as the UK tour and someone somewhere actually listed it all. Ive looked at all the threads
from the Immersion tour but no luck yet
For everything that could have been, well at least we took the ride....

Thanks, Igneous. I remembere these two tracks, but it wasn't exactly the ones I was thinking about. There was a track or two in particular that used
the same type of dubstep bass and synth lead that Rob uses, even down to the same drum beats that are used in Propane Nightmares and Granite.
Specifically it looks something like this:
Kick (hold) Snare (hold hold) Kick Snare (hold)
K . S . . K S .
Thanks for the tip on Porter Robinson, though. That song is awesome.

i guess it could of been some demo tracks/ideas that they've made whilst touring. but even so, it would surely make more sense to preview that
material at dj sets? so i dunno
you could try asking rob or gareth on twitter or something?

Thanks for the tips here, guys. I'm pretty new to the substep/electro scene and these links are hooking me up with some great new music.
