Mid 09...
The only reason they took so long to release the second album was due to the hard ware and the software not being available at the time... And
revolving that around touring as well..

Don't take what i said as a definate.. It's still just being written. I was going on the average time it takes other bands...
And... Either it will be part of the Album.. [Would be good to see, only putting 2+2 together...]
Or in a few months...

I'd rather them go more HYC sound
Not because In Silico is commerical because it's not. These guys do what they want to do.

im guessing wev already heard part of a track from the new album
lets think logicaly, what happened to slam in the year running up to 2008?
it got an intro... the tempest...
whats happened to showdown this year?
its got a "mysterious" heavy detuned orchestral intro.... "?"
2+2 is 4?!

I reckon that because Tempest is the final track on the album, with that great electronic outro, it could be a signal that they're returning to their
electronic roots with less lyrics and all that. They also have been finishing their concerts with it too. But if they do return to a less lyrical
form, I'd be disappointed because its be better for them, at least in my opinion to carry on experimenting with different styles of music.

I always thought that the longer intro of Another Planet they played in Newport could be used for a new chune.

...Fading Gently, Soaking through, Just Started Not to show at All...
...We reaching out and Into You, Nothing else Can't touch Me...
..."Many people hear that and say "Oh yeah, i like that nice catchy tune!"
It's not meant to be "Catchy", It's meant to sound like fucking apocalypse."

The new intro for Showdown is awesome. If a studio mix of it becomes the intro song on the new album that would be safe.

remixes here... All of them just not mine. Who knows maybe someone likes those..) is the last single from In Silico... Want to hear something new
already)

Dunno why everyone got their hopes up so much. It's not exactly unusual for Pendulum to not release their VIP mixes...
unless everyone was getting their hopes up about it cuz of Propane Nightmares rite?

Agree with the harder rock comment - something a bit more energetic (read DnB-like).
The Tempest is more what I'm after from Pendulum (unless they went back to old-school!) but I wished the last 2.30 was that little bit more
aggressive and punchy - restraint is hardly what it needs.

on the contrary showdown has a similar build to it,
and midnight runner had a second build to it later in the track
so i think that this is just coincidental
although rob has alredy said that
~"the next album will be back to more effects [on vocals] than god"
so they will be mixing the best of old and new probably
