I'd be happy to see what they come up with next - whatever direction they might take. If they change their sound they may lose some fans, as they now
have a large following, but people said that about the change from Hold Your Colour to In Silico and that seems to have worked out all right for
them!
Whatever they do next, it's hard to see how it won't have the killer riffs that have been present in both albums. I think some of the riffs Rob has
come up with are seminal - and are a major reason why Pendulum have broken through. People 'sing' the riffs at gigs - that you don't see/hear
everyday!

Well I d like to hear something more fun. They re new style is just blowing head, it is insanity, but it is like EMO- sad lyrics. When I heard Propane
Nightmares, I thought it s just a Fake- this mexicana-salsa intro was like "OMFG You must be kidding, it can t be Pendulum" It as really really fun
for me, but then I found video... I d like to hear something like this) You know- funny intro with some harmonica or banjo- and then Blood and Meat
over the crowd) I meant like "Why so serious? Let s put a smile on that face, son" (c) I understand that they are not some clowns from russian
circus, but guys are too serious imo.
Also I d like to hear something really heavy- like Slam Intro. There s not ONLY The Tempest theme... But it is blowing up.
And finally I d like to hear some Pendulum Remixes. Officialy released Voodo People VIP, and Rob s 5am dub be good mash up(just WOW!!!) from radio 1
minimix.
And sorry, but I d like to hear something like The Other Side. Not exactly same music. I m talking about song mood. Song about Good n Bad, about
feelings inside, about some drama inside)
Well Yeah, I d like to hear so much... But I m sure, whatever I want, they make it much more f*cking better.
...Fading Gently, Soaking through, Just Started Not to show at All...
...We reaching out and Into You, Nothing else Can't touch Me...
..."Many people hear that and say "Oh yeah, i like that nice catchy tune!"
It's not meant to be "Catchy", It's meant to sound like fucking apocalypse."

Pendulums lyrics aren't emo, fuck sake.
I'm looking forward to hearing more beeastin riffs and just anything that can make a crowd go insane/wow!
I hope they maybe write more tempest-esque tunes, but not as long as it is, if ye get me.
But there's no way to know what they're gonna throw at it, that's the beauty of it!

Tbh... I remember everyone saying "i want more Hold Your Colour tunes... etc etc etc lolcakes..."
I'm thinking it will be some synth driven Showdown-esque...
Aww... I don't want to have to kick Gabs in the groinal area... She was at the Dr's this morning getting tested... (She admitted that!!)

the sound from the synths are my favouriteee. when they kick in with the drums, yus.
hold ur colour is my favourite song but i don't think they could make anything to top that in my view..... like if they tried to make another hold
your colour type tuune.

I really would like them to go back down the D&B route, they've became very commercial with In Silico, which is very good, because now loads of
more people now about them and there fan base is growing! But i prefer the more 'underground' sound, with more tracks like Slam, Trantula and Blood
Sugar, more proper D&B stuff, I love In Silico don't get me wrong, but when I saw one of their videos on Kerrang I thought, jeez I didn't think
Kerrang listeners liked this sorta music. And now I've always thought that they've comercialised so much people think its pissin rock and heavy
metal or summit...
ER...
Drum 'n' Bass Pet! Get it right.
So yeah back down the D&B route i think.

If they go down a more drum 'n' bass sound would that not be taking a step back instead of going forward? It's hard to say what direction the third
album will end up taking. I can't see Pendulum completely going down a rock/heavy metal direction as how would Verse fit in? It'll be interesting to
see where they go next...

as long it contains the driving synths -
like the end of propane nightmares -
about 4mins in on midnight runner -
AND the last 2:30 of the tempest...
anything like that is a winner in my book.
those are the moments that make me wanna bop my shit around the dancefloor. lol
and - if they released the live intro to showdown, with rob's singing bit. so. fucking. good.

Distress Signal VIP.
Oh... lol. I'd like to see more of the crossover stuff tbh, they could just do D&B but they seem to have a very talented lineup of musicians
there and who'd want them to go to waste huh
Hardcore D&B fan or not, In Silico is probably the nore varied album of the two, this is hardly a bad thing depending on what kind of person you
are (I listen to music spanning all kind of genres so..), I mean you got a pounding dance-rock track (Showdown, Mutiny), a more traditional D&B
track (Midnight Runner), and then some almost plain rock tracks (The Tempest, The Other Side), i'm not trying to make an argument that In Silico is a
better album (there are plenty of other threads to do that in) but thats exactly what i'd like to see. Not a D&B or a Rock album, but like a bit
of both, some straight-up rock tracks, some D&B tracks, some bits of both, hell, they could always shove some other genres in the mix like a Big
Beat track or something.
What would be good is a remix CD, some rare (hell how about some new) VIP remixes, other artist remixes, some remixes of other artists songs etc.

I wouldn't mind hearing some more collaborations with other artists tbh. HYC had a lot of other people involved in the tracks, where as IS was just
pendulum.... If they managed to do something with The Prodigy that would be awesome!
As to the style, i think its gonna be pretty much different to both previous albums... just depends whats going on in their heads at the time

yeh, more collaborations would be good.
rob did say that he'd love to collab with producers he respects and looks up to, like liam from the prodigy and subfocus (pendulum feat subfocus
would be crazy!!)
so a few guests on the new album is quite possible
PEN-DU-LUM! PEN-DU-LUM! PEN-DU-LUM!

Another song with $pyda would be pretty cool.
Would also be cool if they got The Freestylers & MC Sirreal to do a song with them
And Liam Howlett, maybe even Hadouken! (probably a flamebait comment lol)..
I second the notion of a Pendulum feat. Subfocus though, that would be killer.

Like my cousin... go both ways.
Harder rock, even metal matched and mixed with heavier synth and a bigger bang!
(Without sounding like Silent Descent.)
